The problem
Why an hydraulic aviation fluid may cost up to 10 times the same hydraulic fluid for industrial use?
The cause
One of the mayor causes is the filtration process which fluid has to be submitted. Costs caused by filtration, cleaning process and cleaning certification, are charged on the final price. An aeronautic hydraulic fluid is supplied in NAS1638 class 3. The same fluid for industrial use, may be supplied from a 10 to 12 NAS1638 class level.
The solution
In our experience, the most cleaned brand new industrial hydraulic oil, was in class 9.
