CHEAP HYDRAULIC OIL

The problem

When an hydraulic oil is chosen, if the price is low, there’d be a reason. Always more often it’s possible to find re-conditioned oils, additivated with paraffins to increase the anti-sizing peculiarities.

The cause

A brand new oil heavy in concentration with paraffins, it’s a polluted oil. These suspended waxes, in some oils could be present at a so high concentration to make the sample appear foggy as it’d be a water contamination. This high soft particles number, is responsible of a fast filter cartridge clogging and often for valve cursors sizing.

The solution

A poor filtrability, it’s a symptom of a poor oil fluidity and consequently a poor capacity of the oil to penetrate and lubricate correctly the moving parts, bringing them to a sizing.
