The problem

The cause

His needs were to have an affordable and long lasting system that could guarantee a percentage as low as possible of H2S in the incoming side of the engine. After some valuations and an accurate survey of the system, we supplied a filtration system based on Activated Carbons, special made for this kind of application.

The solution

The effect of this carbons, together with the special designed container, brought the H2S percentage to 661PPM (parts per million) to 0 (this level has been successively upgraded to 95 PPM from the customer, to not overload the activated carbon system). As a result, our customer has lengthened the interval between oil changes, decreasing maintenance costs and direct costs due to the oil change and the used oil dispatch, beside less maintenance operations that are required.
